Lesson Plans - Wednesday, October 15th

•1st Hour:  Went over lesson 3-1 and assigned Lesson 3-1: 1-11, 13, 20, 21 due Thursday.

•2nd, 5th Hour Girls:  Previewed for Benchmarking Test to be taken on Friday.

•4th, 7th Hours:  Went over lesson 3-2 and assigned Lesson 3-2:  1-5, 23, 24, 26, 31 due Thursday.

•6th Hour:  Reviewed lesson 2-9 and graded.  NO ASSIGNMENT.  Will preview for test Thursday and take a test Friday.

Lesson Plans - Tuesday, October 14th

•1st Hour:  Finished Test 2 in class.  NO ASSIGNMENT.

•2nd, 5th Hour Boys:  Reviewed for Benchmark Test.

•4th, 7th Hours:  Went over lesson 3-1 and assigned Lesson 3-1: 1-10, 13, 20, 21 due Wednesday.

•6th Hour:  Reviewed Lesson 2-9.  Told students that the problems that were assigned yesterday would be due at 2:00 on Wednesday.  That will give students 30 minutes of class time to ask questions before we grade.

Lesson Plans - Monday, October 13th

•1st Hour:  Take Chapter 2 Test.  NO ASSIGNMENT.

•2nd, 5th Hour Girls:  Have girls take out their iPads and go to iXL app.  They will need to do 20 problems from 8th Grade, Section N, number 12.  When they are finished they are to work on homework or read till 15 minutes left in class.  At that point they may play games or chat quietly.

•4th, 7th Hours:  Have students work on the chapter 3 "Are You Ready" worksheet.  Have students turn in papers at the end of the hour whether they are finished or not.  If a student gets finished early, they may NOT play games on the iPads.  They can work on other homework or read.

•6th Hour:  Have students read the start of lesson 2-9 on page 132.  Following that, on their iPads, I want them to watch the four examples using the Personal Tutor videos available in their ConnectEd app. They should use head phones to listen to the video.  If they do not have head phones they my use one of my pair that is hanging on the west wall.  After they have done this they should work on Lesson 2-9, Page 136 6-9, 11, 12, 14.  Please tell students to not freak out over this homework.  Simply try their best to look back and the associated example number and use that as their guide.  As long as I get a good report from the sub that the class worked on this during class time on Monday, I will give students time in class Tuesday to work on it and go over questions.  In short, this will be due Wednesday, as long as the students work hard on this on their own in class Monday.

Lesson Plans - Friday, October 10th

•1st Hour:  Worked on Chapter 2 Test Preview.  TEST MONDAY.

•2nd, 5th Hour Boys:  Worked on iXL app with Box and Whiskers.

•4th, 7th Hours:  Finished taking Chapter 2 Test.  NO ASSIGNMENT.

•6th Hour:  Reviewed lesson 2-8 and skill practice worksheet over the same lesson.  NO ASSIGNMENT.
